MUTV pundit drops telling Leny Yoro injury update prediction after what he did while coming off

Manchester United’s Premier League campaign continues to find new lows and the latest game was no different, a 0-2 loss to West Ham United.

The result left Man Utd 16th in the table, interestingly, just ahead of their Europa League final rivals, Spurs.

The loss is terrible from a league position viewpoint but the campaign was done long ago, which is why Leny Yoro’s injury is far larger news for Man Utd fans.

Wes Brown, a former Red Devil and MUTV analyst, has predicted Leny Yoro’s injury update because of what the Frenchman did after coming off for Harry Maguire after he fell to the ground without any pressure, which is always a bad indication.

Leny Yoro injury update prediction

To begin, it must be acknowledged that Yoro did leave the field and enter the tunnel by himself, so there is hope.

But Yoro has a history of foot issues, and non-contact injuries are nearly always worse than contact ones.

Since the game just ended, Yoro has not yet received an official update; nonetheless, Wes Brown observed what Yoro did and has forecast a schedule, which may include his availability for the final.

Brown, speaking on MUTV, said: “Putting his shirt in his mouth and covering his eyes for 10 minutes means he’s thinking ahead. He might miss the final even if it’s not a big injury. Let’s hope it’s not but if he is injured he’d be a big miss. He’s been a great player and did better and better.”

Yoro looked completely desolate while he was coming off and, as Brown said, it would be a surprise to see him make the squad for the final.

Ruben Amorim’s gamble backfired

Although Yoro’s injury would make headlines, it was only the beginning of what might have been a disastrous situation for Manchester United.

Amorim took a huge risk by starting a full-strength squad, excluding a few players, which was unnecessary given that the Europa League match was less than three days prior.

Rasmus Hojlund also had a shoulder problem, which he overcame, but once more, the Manchester United boss took unnecessary chances.

The team lost and performed worse than they did in the previous two Premier League games involving young players, against Brentford and Wolves, making it appear even worse.

It is fair to say that Amorim will have learned his lesson and that should be reflected in the XI against Chelsea on Friday night.

That won’t reverse what’s happened to Yoro, however, and that is down to an oversight by Amorim.
