Man Utd ‘name next transfer priority’ after Liam Delap and Matheus Cunha deals

After dealing with Ruben Amorim’s attack during the summer transfer window, Manchester United reportedly determined their next top priority. After their worst season in more than 50 years, the Red Devils are getting ready for a busy business time to reverse the rot.

To finance the number of recruits he has to make to turn around his team’s fortunes next season, Amorim will probably need to sell players. But according to reports, United thinks they have the funds to add two attacking players to the Portuguese tactician’s roster to expand his choices. According to the Manchester Evening News, there is optimism surrounding Matheus Cunha’s scheduled arrival from Wolves.

The Brazilian is reportedly in advanced negotiations to move to Old Trafford and has a £62.5 million release clause.

Liam Delap of Ipswich Town is the front-runner to take Rasmus Hojlund’s spot as Amorim’s starting striker in the interim.

Following Ipswich’s relegation back to the Championship, the 22-year-old is only available for £30 million, despite fierce competition in the Premier League elsewhere.

It’s alleged that United want to make up to four significant acquisitions to trigger drastic improvement after a shambolic domestic campaign.

After addressing the attacking weaknesses, the report goes on to say that Amorim’s priorities also include acquiring a midfield player.

When Christian Eriksen’s contract ends in July, United is anticipated to release him along with Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans.

Kobbie Mainoo has not yet consented to renew Casemiro’s contract, which is about to enter its final year.

Despite the lack of tangible connections thus far, Amorim is anticipated to pursue a dynamic midfield player capable of fulfilling the requirements of his 3-4-3 style.

According to reports, United wants to break double figures for outgoings, and any additional big additions will depend on player sales.

Tyrell Malacia, Antony, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho are all currently on loan and are anticipated to depart the team permanently in the summer.

According to earlier reports, the majority of United’s first team players are in the shop window as the team tries to strengthen its finances and comply with financial requirements.

Along with Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Hojlund are veteran players whose careers in M16 are in doubt due to concerns about their fit with Amorim’s intentions.

The 40-year-old will want to make sure he adds to his team as soon as possible, with what appears to be reinforcements in attack and midfield, even though exits are a significant role.
