Man Utd fans asks Ruben Amorim to sign player this summer and his answer has gone viral

Ruben Amorim has gone viral for how he responded to a fan who made transfer recommendations prior to Thursday night’s Europa League semi-final.

Having beaten Athletic Club 3-0 away from home last week, United host the Basque outfit in the second leg at Old Trafford and are within touching distance of an appearance in the final on 21 May.

Amorim and his squad arrived nice and early, signing autographs and posing for pictures.

But while doing so, the Portuguese was greeted by one supporter who had some suggestions on transfer targets for the summer window – namely Rayan Cherki of United’s Europa League quarter-final opponents Lyon.

The fan, who appeared to be French, told Amorim, “Ruben we want Cherki at Manchester” – but the former Sporting CP man appeared to reply, “Nah” as he continued signing.

Amorim was also told to reunite with his former striker Viktor Gyokeres but he didn’t offer much of a response.
