Man United’s next signings once Matheus Cunha and Sandro Tonali transfers are completed

Manchester United has been laying the foundation for several moves despite not having reached any agreements before the summer transfer window, unlike Premier League rivals Arsenal.

United is entering their largest transfer window in recent memory after a terrible season that could still be saved by winning the Europa League. If everything goes according to plan, United might be headed back. Done wrong and the vicious loop that has kept them back for so long continues.

Actually, there is room for development in every aspect of Ruben Amorim’s team. With Victor Lindelof leaving, the defense will need to be strengthened, Casemiro’s recent comeback shouldn’t mask midfield weaknesses, Andre Onana is obviously not the Portuguese’s first-choice goalkeeper, and the less said about the offense, the better.

“It’s crucial. I think we are trying to do everything as soon as possible,” Amorim answered when asked how important the summer is. “I think it’s clear for everybody here that is going to be crucial and we have to take advantage of that.

“We need to do everything soon as possible to be prepared for having everybody for the pre-season to start after a season like this. We need to show something. That is not a debate. So I don’t want that conversation of… ‘we need a lot of time’.

“We need time, maybe to win the league, but we need to improve a lot after this season.”

This summer, United must only do more than the absolute minimum. With more than 100 players being linked to transfers to Old Trafford since the beginning of April, United’s transfer rumor mill has been growing faster every day.

Their apparent desire to provide Amorim with a new center-forward has come to light. The less said about United’s attack, the better, as stated under the article’s headline. This season, 70 individuals have outscored Rasmus Hojlund, a £72 million acquisition, who has four Premier League goals. These players include Darwin Nunez, Jordan Ayew, Marcus Rashford, Mikel Merino, Omar Marmoush, who arrived in January, Phil Foden, and Jhon Duran, who departed England in January.

The priority is only a striker. With a £30 million release clause that appeals after their relegation, Liam Delap of Ipswich Town is reportedly the top target. Intriguingly, Viktor Gyokeres has stated that he would be amenable to rejoining Amorim in the event that United wins the Champions League.

Matheus Cunha, who can play as a number nine or offensive midfielder, is a player who seems closer to completing a move than others. Arsenal is reportedly trying to sabotage the deal, even though numerous media sites reported two weeks ago that he had agreed to personal conditions. Once more, United will already be in a better position if they are able to acquire the Wolves star.

United must continue their search for a new center-forward despite the Brazilian’s arrival. They must sign a goal-driven center-forward early in the transfer window, whether it’s Delap, Gyokeres, or even Victor Osimhen.

United also needs to bolster their midfield in other areas. Although Casemiro has performed admirably alongside his South American colleague, Manuel Ugarte has taken over the role in recent months, and at 33, he still needs to be replaced.

My personal favorite to enter and improve United’s midfield is Ederson. His €40 million (£33.8 million) Atalanta release clause is a desirable amount, and he is a wonderful fit for United. United should be all over it since there is a real chance that he may leave Italy this summer.
