Jurgen Klopp has been tipped to make an unthinkable move and replace Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.
Amorim was responsible for United’s worst ever Premier League season as they finished 15th on 42 points and were beaten by Spurs in the Europa League final in Bilbao.
Though he has a win percentage of just 38.1%, the Portuguese manager has still been kept on by United and is being backed in the transfer market – starting with the £62.5 million signing of Mateus Cunha from Wolves.
Klopp left a year ago and signed on to become Head of Global Football with Red Bull, but Keown believes he would do “an incredible” job at United despite it being very unlikely that such an agreement would happen.
“The number of games they’ve lost, I’m still concerned that this is maybe not the right manager for Manchester United,” he said on talkSPORT.
