
French wonderkid Enzo Kana-Biyik is travelling to England today to sign his contract with Manchester United, journalist Benjamin Quarez has revealed.
The Red Devils are reportedly set to complete a move for the 18-year-old starlet, who is expected to join once his contract with Le Havre expires at the end of the season.
The highly-rated French striker chose not to extend his deal with the Ligue 1 side and had been in talks to sign for United for several weeks.
Kana-Biyik is yet to make a senior appearance in Ligue 1 but scored eight goals in 14 games in the Championnat National U19 competition this season.
The centre-forward was named in Le Havre’s matchday squad once this campaign, for their 2-1 win at Lille at the start of February.
United have welcomed a host of promising starlets over the past two transfer windows, including Arsenal duo Ayden Heaven and Chido Obi.
The pair have already made their professional debuts under Ruben Amorim this season and managed to impress, with Obi a particular standout.
The Red Devils are prepared to invest heavily in attacking reinforcements this summer and are in advanced talks to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha.
The 25-year-old Brazilian is believed to be keen on a move to Old Trafford and is expected to become Amorim’s first senior summer signing, with the search also ongoing for a new number nine.
United reportedly have Ipswich Town sensation Liam Delap and Eintracht Frankfurt ace Hugo Ekitike among their options, while a move for Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres remains difficult.
