Manchester United have submitted an initial offer worth £45m plus £10m in add-ons for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Red Devils have reportedly opened negotiations for the ‘insane’ Cameroonian forward as they look to add another attacker alongside former Wolves star Matheus Cunha, who joined on a five-year deal last week.
Brentford’s valuation of Mbeumo is similar to what United paid for Cunha, with Romano suggesting the Bees are seeking around £70m but remain open to negotiations.
