HIJACKED! United Snatches £100m Arsenal Target as Carrick’s First Signing!

Manchester United fans, start the celebrations! In a stunning “Monday-morning bombshell” that has rocked the Premier League, reports from Fabrizio Romano and TEAMtalk confirm that United have effectively hijacked Arsenal’s primary summer target.

The player? Newcastle United’s midfield powerhouse Sandro Tonali.

Despite Arsenal holding secret talks with the Italian’s representatives since January, the “Carrick Revolution” has reportedly won over the 25-year-old. With United currently flying high in 3rd place and a Champions League spot nearly secured, Tonali has reportedly given the “green light” for a move to Old Trafford.

 The £100 Million “Gentleman’s Agreement”

Newcastle United were previously adamant that Tonali was “untouchable,” but their disappointing campaign has changed the landscape.

The Deal: Tonali reportedly has a “gentleman’s agreement” with the Magpies to facilitate an exit if they miss out on European football.

The Price: United are prepared to meet the £100 million (€117m) valuation to make him the centerpiece of Michael Carrick’s midfield for the 2026/27 season.

The Role: He is viewed as the “Elite Brand” successor to the departing Casemiro, offering the athleticism and dominance Carrick’s system demands.

The “25-Goal” Superstar: Is Victor Osimhen Next?

While Tonali is the midfield priority, the “25-goal” buzz is also being fueled by legendary United midfielder Nicky Butt, who has urged the club to make a second “hijack” for Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian “Demi-God” has been in terrifying form for Galatasaray, netting 29 goals so far this season (including 7 in the Champions League). Butt argued this week that despite Benjamin Šeško’s rise, United MUST sign a proven elite striker like Osimhen to truly challenge for the title next year.

“Osimhen is the one. You’d like to think players from Turkish sides are gettable… he’s powerful, quick, and can score every type of goal.”  Nicky Butt
