Michael Carrick EXILES Man Utd Star After Shock Training Boycott!
The “Carrick Revolution” at Old Trafford has hit its first major road bump, and it’s a total car crash.
Interim boss Michael Carrick has reportedly lost patience with a first-team star who has refused to report to training ever since his deadline day exit was blocked by the club. In a stunning move, Carrick has officially frozen the player out of the squad, telling the board: “He’s no longer in my plans.”
The “Betrayal” at the Airport?
The drama stems back to the final hours of the January window. Reports suggest that Dutch defender Tyrell Malacia was literally on his way to the airport to finalize a move to Istanbul when he received a “devastating” phone call from technical director Jason Wilcox.
United abruptly blocked the move due to a long-term injury to Patrick Dorgu, leaving Malacia stranded and “furious.”
Carrick’s Cold Response
While fans have praised Carrick for bringing “calmness” back to United, the manager showed his ruthless side in today’s briefing:
“He has refused to report to training since his move was blocked on deadline day. I’ve already informed the board he’s no longer in my plans before fans say I’m being harsh.”
By staying away from Carrington, the player has effectively ended his Manchester United career. With his contract set to expire this summer, it appears he will leave as a free agent, but not before spending his final months in the “bomb squad.”
Why Now? The Tactical Twist
Carrick’s decision to exile the player comes at a risky time. With Dorgu sidelined for 10 weeks and Luke Shaw’s fitness always a question mark, United are now paper-thin at left-back.
However, insiders say Carrick is prioritizing discipline and team spirit over squad depth. Since taking over from Ruben Amorim, Carrick has guided United to 3rd in the table and he clearly isn’t going to let one “rebel” player ruin the vibe.
