Latest on De Ligt, Martinez, Dorgu, Fredricson

Matthijs de Ligt has been out of action since Manchester United’s win over Crystal Palace at the end of November 2025. He has been nursing a complicated back strain that has prevented him from making a matchday squad or taking part in a training session.

Lisandro Martinez is set to miss his fourth consecutive game with a calf strain. He will hope to make a return ahead of United’s following game with Bournemouth.

Patrick Dorgu has been out since picking up a hamstring injury against Arsenal in January. He is not expected back until April, although Denmark have not given up hope that he could play a role in their World Cup qualifiers at the end of March.

Tyler Fredricson picked up a calf injury at the end of January that cost him the chance to head out on loan. He is working towards a return, and could provide useful depth if Martinez and De Ligt remain out.

An update will be provided on Mason Mount at Michael Carrick’s upcoming press conference. He is not believed to have suffered a setback and has been working hard on his recovery. He has not played since Michael Carrick’s first game in charge.
