Ricardo Mathias has a definite price tag of €20 million or nothing, according to Internacional.
Manchester United is now keeping an eye on the 19-year-old striker, who is attracting interest from overseas. However, Globo Esporte reported last Sunday that Inter had previously turned down a €13 million approach from Al-Nassr.
The Saudi club made the first concrete move, but the response from Porto Alegre was swift and firm. According to local reporter Alexandre Ernst, Inter doesn’t want to negotiate for less than €20 million (£17 million) since they think Mathias is worth more.
The teenage player is still one of Inter’s most valuable assets in 2025, even though he had a more subdued role in the Libertadores’ defeat to Flamengo. His name is still in the market despite his five goals this season and his rising reputation in Europe.
The current negotiations are set against the backdrop of Manchester United’s interest, which was revealed earlier this month following a live scouting expedition at the Maracanã.
Inter is defending their position for the time being, but things might swiftly change if a bid meets the asking amount.
