Coleen Rooney made her feelings known after Wayne Rooney bid $150,000 for a night out with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as footage of the auction has resurfaced amid the American rapper’s landmark trial in New York.
Diddy has been found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution.
However, he was found not guilty of more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
The American hip-hop mogul was accused by prosecutors of abusing and coercing three alleged victims, including his former long-term partner and singer Cassie Ventura.
He faces up to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of transporting Cassie and another former girlfriend, and male sex workers for prostitution.
Rooney, who was 20 at the time of the auction, outbid everyone in the room, putting down a cool $150,000 (£115,000).
After winning the prize, Combs, standing alongside auction hosts David Beckham and Graham Norton, promises Rooney a ‘non-stop party with lots of sexy ladies’.
He tells Rooney he will make him a ‘changed man’ as the Manchester United legend is filmed laughing, with Rio Ferdinand also invited on the trip.
“After he comes to New York, we’ll probably be cousins,” said Combs.
“It’ll be a non-stop party with lots of sexy ladies.”
Despite winning the bid, Rooney would never go on the night out with Combs.
During an appearance on the Graham Norton Show in 2011, the 55-year-old said Rooney was banned from making the trip to New York, with Coleen allegedly stopping her husband from attending.
Norton asked: “I always wondered; did they ever go? Did it ever happen?”
To which Combs replied: “No, their wives wouldn’t allow them to come. I’m serious. I don’t know why.”
