Mbeumo done, Rashford swap deal done”, Latest on Manchester United transfer deals as Bruno Fernandez finally makes decision on His future at Man United
Al-Hilal believe they are “close” to reaching an agreement with Bruno Fernandes after a week of negotiations with the Manchester United captain’s agent in Riyadh, according to a journalist.
Ben Jacobs reveals the Saudi Pro League side are increasingly confident their pursuit of Fernandes will prove successful after a “mega” offer was tabled for the Portuguese international to leave Old Trafford
Al-Hilal are reported to have offered a four-year contract to Fernandes which would “triple his current salary” in Manchester.
They are also willing to submit a record-breaking bid for Saudi Arabian football with a £100 million bid reported to be in the works.
Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano contends Al-Hilal are “prepared to pay whatever it takes” to United to part ways with their talismanic midfielder, suggesting the potential price could climb higher than the initial offer.
Jacobs reveals there has been “no formal approach or bid” tabled by Al-Hilal but the Saudi club predict a “sale will be sanctioned if Fernandes asks to leave.” And Al-Hilal “now believe an agreement with Bruno Fernandes is close after a week of positive meetings,” the journalist reveals.
