Matheus Cunha has reportedly already chosen his shirt number at Manchester United next season with the Wolves star set to become Ruben Amorim’s first summer signing.
The Brazilian has been Wolves’ shining light in a difficult season, having produced 17 goals and six assists for Vitor Periera’s side.
Despite the transfer window not opening until June, Cunha has looked destined for Old Trafford for some time with David Ornstein revealing United are ready to pay the forward’s £62.5 million release clause.
“He’s playing a 3-4-3, he’s doing quite well! He’s changing some players, he has real quality players – Cunha and all these guys, they have real quality. They are fresh.”
