Amorim makes huge call on promoting JJ Gabriel as buzz around him soars to new heights – report

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has reportedly made a decision over potentially promoting JJ Gabriel, even as the hype surrounding him continues to soar.

Gabriel making waves at United

Gabriel is rapidly becoming one of United’s most promising talents, with the young player drawing attention due to his exceptional performances and skills.

He has made an explosive start to the season, scoring five goals in three matches for United’s Under-18s. This achievement is even more remarkable considering he is only 14 years old.

Gabriel netted an impressive hat-trick for the Red Devils as they secured a convincing 4-0 win against Derby County last month. A report from The Peoples Person indicated that Gabriel is already on Amorim’s radar.

Since taking over as Erik ten Hag’s successor in November of last year, Amorim has demonstrated a willingness to provide opportunities to young players who prove themselves. Players such as Chido Obi, Ayden Heaven, Tyler Fredricson, and Harry Amass have all experienced first-team play under Amorim.

Nevertheless, it seems that United supporters will need to be patient before witnessing Gabriel’s significant transition to senior football.

As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Amorim is aware of United’s challenging phase and is committed to ensuring that it does not impede Gabriel’s growth.

Amorim makes decisive call on Gabriel

GIVEMESPORT claim, “Manchester United are very excited about the development of promising teenager JJ Gabriel, but are unlikely to fast-track him into Ruben Amorim’s first-team squad any time soon.”

“With United still struggling in the Premier League, Amorim recognises the current situation is not the right environment to blood such a young player into the senior squad.”

“There is optimism that Gabriel, who turns 15 next month, will be given a first taste of senior minutes under Amorim eventually, especially after Max Dowman’s recent breakthrough at Arsenal.”

It’s understood that United consider Gabriel their very own Dowman and it’s expected that on current trajectory, he will be the club’s youngest-ever debutant, surpassing Angel Gomes, who made his bow at 16 years and 263 days.

Meanwhile, United are back in action on Sunday when they take on cross-town rivals Manchester City at the Etihad.
