In Sunday’s Premier League rivalry, Manchester United is preparing for an exciting matchup with Manchester City.

The focus will be on manager Ruben Amorim, who is facing increasing pressure to deliver a noteworthy outcome in order to repay INEOS’ summer support.

Casemiro arrived back in Carrington early from his overseas assignment, according to the Daily Mail.

He was suspended for Brazil’s World Cup qualifying match against Bolivia, but he is back in training ahead of the Manchester derby.

When facing the defending champions, the 33-year-old is probably going to get his fourth consecutive Premier League start.

Casemiro has performed admirably on his own.

During the 1-0 loss to Arsenal, he impressed with his long passes from deep.

Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes kept the Gunners on their toes, despite the fact that many predicted Arsenal would dominate the midfield duel.

His header struck the bar, resulting in a lucky own goal.

United needs an athletic midfielder to go with Fernandes in Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 formation.

The Portuguese playmaker has never been good at maintaining positional discipline, but he thrives on breaking through defenses.

Amorim is now looking for a partner who can protect the backline and cover every blade of grass.

Even though Casemiro doesn’t have the same speed or strength anymore, his unwavering work ethic is still evident.

Ruud van Nistelrooy and Erik ten Hag have both praised his professionalism and never-say-die attitude in the past.

Though Amorim initially froze him out, the Brazilian fought his way back with sheer discipline and has reclaimed his place as a key figure.

United fans will be desperate to see Casemiro summon the warrior within and roll back the years against their noisy neighbours.
