Man United summer signing is now worth £105m, he is already the club’s most valuable player

One of Manchester United’s summer signings can be considered an absolute bargain given his latest valuation.

Ineos added five new players to Ruben Amorim’s team this summer, at a transfer fee of £230 million.

Amorim’s “bomb squad,” which was assembled over the summer, was likewise cleared away by Ineos during United’s stellar transfer window. Tyrell Malacia is the only person still listed at Carrington.

Following Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure, Old Trafford has seen subpar recruitment, and research indicates that United’s roster value has drastically decreased in comparison to the players they were signed for.

However, with the new ownership, maybe that is beginning to change.

Man United’s most valuable player is worth £105m

Bruno Fernandes turned down a £100 million transfer to Saudi Arabia over the summer because he believed his work at United was not yet over.

The Portuguese playmaker is regarded by many as United’s best and most significant player, yet it appears that he is not the most valuable.

Benjamin Sesko, who joined United in the summer, is actually the team’s most valued player, per the most recent CIES Football Observatory report.

Sesko was acquired from RB Leipzig for £66 million, and United is fending off Newcastle United’s interest in closing a move this summer.

Given that the report indicates a “fair price” for the Slovenian is between £90 million and £105 million, it appears that Ineos should view that transaction as a steal.

Considering United nearly signed Sesko for £2.5m in 2019, it shows the striker’s meteoric rise in Europe.

Benjamin Sesko has a huge future at Man United

Given that Sesko had limited preseason training in Germany, Amorim has taken care to gradually incorporate him into United’s starting lineup.

However, Sesko is adjusting to life at Carrington quite nicely, and Amorim has been impressed by his eagerness to learn and grow. Even though he hasn’t really had an opportunity to flourish on the field yet, the indicators have been encouraging.

Hopefully, Sesko, United’s new star striker, will return to England healthy and ready to play in the Manchester derby after recently shining for Slovenia against Sweden.

Sesko, who is only 22 years old, is already being hailed as United’s most important player and has a bright future ahead of him.

Once he gets up to speed and can build some form, United will only improve.
