Manchester United now have clear deadline to complete final summer transfer

During the just concluded summer transfer window, Manchester United did a good job of getting rid of the majority of their so-called “bomb squad.”

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Antony, and Jadon Sancho have all left Old Trafford for the Reds, either permanently or on loan. After spent a lot of money this summer, United will be happy to have practically all of those players off their salary line, even though they have lost money on them.

Now that the transfer deadline is over, Reds manager Ruben Amorim will be hoping that his team has no further distractions. With their futures set until at least January, his team can concentrate entirely on playing football.

However, one player has requested to depart and is currently stranded at M16. Tyrell Malacia, a full-back for United, will continue to train at Carrington after failing to find a move in much of Europe before Monday’s deadline.

But there are still ways for the Dutchman to leave. For instance, the window in Turkey is open until September 12. The Premier League has recently sold a lot of players to Turkey, and Malacia still has the chance to sign with a Turkish Super Lig team.

Saudi Arabia’s window, which closes on September 23, is another with many days remaining. Greece (September 12), Serbia (September 17), Belgium, and Switzerland (both September 8) are additional possible destinations for Malacia.

There must now be a recognition on Malacia’s part that he must depart to get any game-time this season. Patrick Dorgu, Luke Shaw and Diego Leon would be preferred to him at left-wing back, where he would probably be best suited.

Attention must now be on securing a move away and settling a transfer which has been a long time coming.
