The latest Man Utd injury news and potential return dates ahead of the clash with Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
Manchester United have already ruled five players out of their upcoming clash with Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
Ruben Amorim’s side are back in action on Friday night after they were beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon. United produced a spirited performance at Villa Park but fell to defeat after two stunning finishes from Morgan Rogers and some poor defending from Leny Yoro.
United were handed a fresh injury blow before the match when Kobbie Mainoo suffered an injury in training, while Bruno Fernandes was forced off at half-time and replaced in midfield by Lisandro Martinez. Neither player is expected to be back to face Newcastle later this week, while Noussair Mazraoui, Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo are all certain to miss it due to their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.
