Manchester United have been linked with making a big-money bid during the January transfer window
Manchester United are already being linked with spending big money ahead of the January transfer window.
United invested in four new signings during the summer with Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha,
Benjamin Sesko and Senne Lammens all moving to Old Trafford. Despite investing in new signings, the Reds are still being credited with making further new additions to their squad for the January window.
One such report has linked United with signing Vitor Roque from Palmeiras. There have been suggestions that United are prepared to submit a £44million offer to the Brazilian club for the 20-year-old forward.
Roque has previously been on the books at Barcelona and Real Betis before he moved to Palmeiras earlier this year.
Several months later, United are now being linked with adding the versatile forward to Ruben Amorim’s squad.
With the January window less than two months away, the CIES Football Observatory have provided all of the details for Roque’s current value in the transfer market.
The 20-year-old is said to be valued up to €88million (£77million) with the site, which is more than what United are reportedly willing to offer to complete a deal in January.
It remains to be seen if the aforementioned rumours turn out to be true, or if United’s name is merely being mentioned to generate further transfer speculation.
Regardless, it seems that Roque has a bright future ahead and only time will tell if it will lead to Old Trafford.
