Romano Exclusive: Exciting Midfielder Wants to Join Man Utd in Double Deal

Manchester United keep working for their future and young talents are always a key step in the development plan at the club, with signings already planned and others to consider very soon.

The signing of Colombian 17-year-old midfielder Cristian Orozco is already done and sealed; he will cost a $1m transfer fee, with United seeing big potential in the player.

Man United Signed Orozco Despite Late Hijack

After an initial verbal agreement and some details to clarify on the club side, Man United and Fortaleza completed all the steps of the deal with their lead scout, Giuseppe Antonazzo, coordinating this move as a German club also tried to enter the race and hijack the deal.

Orozco wanted Manchester United and will join the Red Devils from July 2026, as soon as he turns 18.

Manchester United have used a similar strategy when they signed Diego Leon, Ayden Heaven or Sekou Kone in the last 18 months, with Jason Wilcox happy to include new faces when the transfer fee is cheap and the talent’s potential is considered very good – as in all of these cases.

Orozco has accepted the proposal and will be part of Man United’s project.

Man United Move Blocked as Dabo Wants to Join

More issues have appeared in another similar case. Man United invited 17-year-old Senegalese midfielder Mouhamed Dabo for a trial in September and results were very good; the club can see the potential for him, but the move is currently blocked.

The interest in signing Dabo is confirmed, but formal and technical steps are still needed and not easy to activate. In addition to this, Man United also don’t want to have any issue with his current club as the relationship is excellent.

Discussions will follow to understand if and when it will be possible to proceed as Dabo is appreciated by Man United, but regulations are key and United will avoid any sort of issue.

Dabo would be happy to join United’s project as his time in Manchester was very good, but now it all depends on the technical steps.
