Three clubs express interest in signing Manchester United star in 2026, the exit Ineos have been waiting for

Manchester United have begun to shred the wage bill by offloading high-earners. That is set to continue in 2026.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe voiced his disapproval of one of the club’s transfer agreements even before Ineos finished their minority takeover at Manchester United.

According to reports, Ratcliffe was not satisfied by the £60 million cost and £350,000 weekly term that Casemiro was given.

When his contract expires in June of next year, Casemiro, who is currently 33, is anticipated to depart Manchester United on a free transfer.

Casemiro receives interest from Brazil

Clubs in Casemiro’s home country of Brazil are hoping for a reunion with the midfielder when he becomes a free agent in 2026.

According to writer Jorge Nicola, Flamengo and Palmeiras are already interested in a move next summer, according to BolaVIP.

Flamengo thinks the Manchester United player will “raise their competitive level” and that Casemiro’s background matches their requirements.

They would welcome Casemiro with even greater fervor because they have lately made significant moves for veterans like David Luiz and Jorginho.

Because to Casemiro’s previous ties to the team where he started his career, Sao Paulo is also allegedly involved.

“Casemiro has never hidden his gratitude to São Paulo, which could influence a future decision,” Nicola adds.

While there is also expected to be interest from the Saudi Pro League, Casemiro has not jumped at the opportunity to move there in the past, and has already earned substantially during his career.

Casemiro has plenty more to give first

Casemiro returned to the Manchester United squad after being benched by Ruben Amorim in the beginning of 2025.

Casemiro has restored his head coach’s trust by starting all three of Manchester United’s Premier League games this season.

Additionally, because United only plays once a week because of the lack of European games, Casemiro has a better opportunity to perform at his peak.

Additionally, he has his sights set on the 2026 World Cup, where Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Brazil, has called him back and reinstated him as a regular starter.

And the temptation to go back to play club football in Brazil would be much stronger if his summer ends with a fantastic World Cup victory.
