David Beckham Exposes ex-Man Utd Teammate Who ‘Talked Too Much’

David Beckham exposed a former Manchester United teammate who ‘talked too much’.

The legendary figure of Manchester United and England made an appearance on CBS Sports Golazo for a special program titled ‘Beckham and Friends Preview show’ in anticipation of the Champions League, which is set to resume on Tuesday evening.

Beckham was joined by Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards on the show, where presenter Kate Abdo engaged the trio in a rapid-fire question and answer segment. One particular question that sparked discussion was when she inquired about which player they wished they could have exchanged shirts with during their respective careers.

However, there was one question that Beckham answered without hesitation. He was asked which teammate he would prefer not to be stuck in a traffic jam with, to which he promptly responded: “Gary Neville.”

When prompted to elaborate, he stated: “He enjoys a debate and tends to talk excessively.”

This response elicited laughter from Carragher and Richards, who frequently interact with Neville through their roles at Sky Sports.

Despite Beckham’s remark, he and Neville have partnered on numerous projects over the years.

The duo initially established a strong partnership along Manchester United’s right flank, having made their debuts in 1993 and playing together until 2003, when Beckham transferred to Real Madrid.

They cultivated a close bond both on and off the field, securing six Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy. Following United’s remarkable treble in May 1999, Neville served as Beckham’s best man during his wedding to Spice Girls member Victoria in July 1999.

Their camaraderie has persisted beyond their playing days, with Beckham and Neville continuing to collaborate in the realm of football.

Earlier this year, the pair established a new consortium to acquire Salford City, purchasing the remaining shares from the Class of 92.

Although Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and Phil Neville are no longer shareholders, they continue to be involved in various capacities at the club.

Upon the announcement, Beckham shared on Instagram: “I am immensely proud to be part of a new ownership group alongside my friend [Gary Neville] as we embark on the next chapter of Salford’s journey.”

Beckham also stuck up for his friend last year, when it was revealed that Nottingham Forest had banned Neville from the City Ground.

On Instagram, he joked: “Must have been something to do with that 7-1 game back in the day.”

He had downplayed the score though, with United actually winning 8-1 against Forest back in February 1999.
