Man Utd could change managers with FC Barcelona legend Xavi a potential candidate for the job.

Xavi would reportedly jump at the chance to become the next manager of Manchester United if they decided to part company with Ruben Amorim.

The Portuguese head coach is under fresh pressure following the weekend defeat to Brentford, with former Barca boss Xavi one of the names already tipped for a potential role at Old Trafford. It has been claimed that the 45-year-old ‘is monitoring the Premier League’ and would ‘immediately’ take the United job, even without European football.

It would certainly be an interesting proposal, though United sources are adamant that Amorim will be given more time to turn things around. Xavi is known for a possession-based 4-3-3 formation, which focused on patient build-up play and creating numerical overloads as often as possible.

Here is a look at how United could hypothetically line up if Xavi were their next manager.
