Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has provided an interesting stance on Bruno Fernandes amid interest from Al-Hilal.
Scholes, 50, made the claim while hosting The Overlap Fan Debate alongside former Liverpoolcaptain Jamie Carragher.
This comes after it emerged on Friday morning (May 30) that Man United captain Fernandes, 30, was seriously considering joining Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal after receiving an offer reportedly worth around £700,000 per week in wages and a £100m transfer fee.
And Scholes gave two reasons why United should sell Fernandes, despite the Portugal international being their outstanding player during a disappointing 2024/25 campaign.
“They are talking about £100m for him, Man United cannot say no to that,” Scholes said
